Car2PC announces version 1.3 of its BMW firmware

The following commands are implemented:
SN - turn sound on/off. Usefull for a Car PC installation to prevent sound "thump" during Car PC startup
PS- turn passthrough mode on/off. Usefull when CD changer emulation is not needed. The way Car PC can access IBus for read/write with full contention detection and collision prevention
NM - send a text to a selected device( IKE, NAV or RAD )
TZ- set the device to send the text information to. Useful when sending text information to many places which includes IKE, NAV and RAD
With all these features plus with sound processing Car2PC adapter become a full competitive solution for Car PC integration for BMW, Mini and Rover vehicles.
It can be used standalone, in conjuncition with smart devices such as Dell Axim , Palm, HP IPAQ and others and with Car PC running Windows and Linux.
USB connection for Car PC integration makes it plug-n-play for instalation and upgrade.
